When the pandemic started, many of us were confined to our areas of the world with little to no means to travel. Camping parks were closed in many places, and those not closed had lengthy wait lists for campsites. With the pandemic behind us, grounds are still scarce, with most state parks booked a year out. You could say that Camp Travelhick was born of necessity. I began searching for a property I could build out for private camping. After almost a year of searching for the perfect property and many months of development, Camp Travelhick opened its doors on July 30, 2022, in Eufaula, Alabama. Since opening, we have continued to improve and add new amenities to the campground property.
